Say bye to Mandarin Oriental and hello to Waldorf Astoria, as City Center Holdings is rumoured to have sold the strip's most luxurious strip hotel to Kam Sang Company, who has entered into an agreement with Waldorf Astoria to manage the hotel property.
Mandarin Oriental will cease managing the Las Vegas hotel and residences on August 30. The Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas will be the hotel's first presence in Las Vegas.
Waldorf Astoria is well thought of around the globe. Conde Nast Traveler recently crowned the Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills the top hotel in Las Angeles, with other global properties in the top 20 for their respective cities.
The Residences at the Mandarin Oriental currently range in price from over $1 million to over $7 million, commanding over $1100 a square foot. The condos are individually owned, separate from the hotel, but residents have access to the hotel facilities.
